Oliver and I. And it's interesting that there's a rumour of Robbie Williams playing the lead role in a biopiccy on Ollie's life. Render unto me a break...Robbie can't act to save his life (and he can't sing either, for that matter).

Oliver!, behind the scenes (even though it's really the trailer).

Depending on where you happen to live, you may or may not have been lucky enough to have caught the mentioned special on the O on the ABC (the australian one). And wouldn't you know it...I managed to miss the first 15 minutes on the said special. I found out after a while that I had recorded the wrong digital TV subchannel, that I guess must have been an hour behind. Fricking new fangled daylight saving.

Seems to me, this community is pretty dead. What a pity! This is a Russian Oliver Reed site. I've made it years ago, in Russian language, of course, but it has some pictures and they're some kind of international, i hope.

[mood |angryLIVID!]

Here is a website i found which captures some of tv and cinema's real greats and states their battle prowess in the form of character cards.

As you can see, it states that Mr. T has an unarmed skill of 10 whilst the fisticuffs titan that is Oliver Reed comes away with a meagre 6!
Now I can appreciate that Mr. T is built like a brick shithouse but his character on the A team was always portrayed as a gentle giant - someone who was mainly there for blind intimidation and witty one-liners rather than playing the role of the "hard nut". For god's sake, the man is afraid of planes! If Oliver Reed saw a plane do you think he'd be overcome with fear? no! he'd stagger right up to the thing, talk to it for a while, think he heard it insult him and then pummel the thing into scrap metal before it has a chance to get in a first jab!

Oliver's abilities as a helluva tough guy are obviously being criminally downplayed to make some of the less able cinematic greats look better. and you know what? it's just not on!

A bloody six!? well done for kicking a dead man while he's down, bastards
